- Find a modem that supports AT&T's ETC (Enhanced Throughput
- Cellular) protocol. There are some other protocols, but this one is the
- best of all that I've heard of. AT&T Paradyne's modems support this
- (except for the Dataport Express, but that's not really an AT&T modem,
- they just sell them). There are some other cellular protocols out there
- which will work to varying degrees of success. Zyxel's ZyxCell protocol
- is supposed to be very good, but it only works when connecting to another
- Zyxel modem. Motorola also has a cellular protcol that's supposed to work
- alright as well.
